Sasi Bon has participated in many design events where we let our imaginations run wild, creating one-of-a-kind pieces which show case our inspiration. It gives us a chance to reflect that jewelry isn’t just a “business,” it is also an art form which has existed for thousands of years and is found in all cultures, regardless of geography, politics, or economics. As people, we are excited and captivated by creativity and artistic skill. No one has to wear jewelry, we wear it because it is beautiful!

One of our creations is the Kinaree necklace, bracelet, and earrings set. We were invited to participate in a design competition with the theme of Green jewelry, to highlight environmental awareness in the jewelry industry. Our unusual set is made with sterling silver, crystals, and re-purposed plastic soda bottles! The bottles were sliced into pieces and then heated slightly to give it texture and form. Not only was it an up-cycled a product, it also provided a brilliant green color which went along with the green theme quite nicely! We received Honorable Mention for our creation, however, the event organizers loved Kinaree so much that it was invited to be featured in two different events. Hence, you can see two different models are wearing our creation.
