As we revel in autumn’s chill, sip hot chocolate, and nibble on pumpkin pie, we have to ask ourselves: do we really want to dress like a pumpkin as well as eat it? Orange is a great color, but there must be other colors ou there appropriate for the season without being inspired by a delicious food item. Happy St. Patrick’s Day for all our friends around the world. We hope you remember to wear green so you don’t receive a little pinch. Here is how to wear this lush color without looking like a leprechaun, with a bit of help from Sasi Bon.
Summer breezes are beginning to blow, and the ocean beckons for us to spend a day on the shore. Dark, stormy skies are fading away, and the refreshing blue firmament reveals itself once more. We love this time of year and the fashion change it offers. Blue never falls out of style and the lovely turquoise is as timeless as ever. We love the spark of crystals, not just in the evening but for all occasions. We especially love the deep and mesmerizing hue of mystic crystal. A mix of Montana blue with AB rainbow hues, it seems to compliment all skin tones and all stone tones too! We’ve put together some of our favorite designs this year using this crystal, mixing it with some wonderful genuine stones. We especially love the imprinted agates which add even more “mystical” qualities to the entire collection. Black and white photos, black and white checker board, black and white diamonds… the stark contrast between these two colors has always been attractive to the eyes. This spring, black and white can be found in all manner of fashion accessories and clothing, so it becomes supremely important to distinguish the fashionista from the trend-followers. Classic, cool and chic, Sasi Bon’s monochrome pearl and black agate necklace offsets the two extreme colors with an intermediate soft and satiny gray of the genuine freshwater pearls. The black agate gleams with a bright gloss. The look is ultra high luxe.
Gemstones were created by nature over millions of years, each piece of gemstone, cut from the whole, seems to have a life of its own. No two can be exactly alike, nor would any connoisseur wish them to be. Far from being the provenance of flower children or hippies, semiprecious beads can also add a welcome dose of glamor and color to haute couture. The smooth gray of Vivian Westwood Short Peppermint Cocotte dress is enlivened with Sasi Bon’s fluorite and cape amethyst necklace and matching earrings. The variance of shapes of the stones also bring a touch of whimsy and compliment the asymmetrical draping of the dress.
